Key Points(short story)

If you’re like me you don’t like reading long stories so let me summarize they key points on how I’ve been treated. (I’m adding to this daily, its 30 years worth of key points)

  1. Lets clear this up, Gouverneur Talc (Vanderbilt) was fully at fault! {It seems this company can ruin lives as they please…..The web is full of lawsuits, complaints, problems and more. Try searching Vanderbilt and lawsuit.} or click that link.
  2. Vanderbilt Minerals was hardly fined for this, matter of fact an osha report I saw rated my injury the same as a man with a cut finger. That really made me feel great…..
  3. They took me to the ER but was released in a few hours with a broken back and allowed to drive home alone.
  4. They played game after game with me and damn near bankrupted me.
  5. I was told i would be taken care of after such a horrible accident, I wasn’t, I was left to handle it all on my own.
  6. You would think I would have gotten some compensation from this but all I was awarded with the useless medical for life award.
  7. NCA Comp out of Buffalo Refuses all treatment, i get nothing without a fight. I have been lied to and insulted by these people several times….I will open a page on the site with email correspondence with them, you will be amazed.
  8. The amount of times treatments, prescriptions etc have been denied is more that I’m willing to type but I can promise its in the hundreds.
  9. When I turned 55 last year I decided to take my pension, yeh $95 a month, and the person who handles this stuff at Vanderbilt actually laughed at me and said (well at least you can get lunch once a month)
  10. These bastards owe me a pension and a lot more, (they owe me a life) that I was trying to earn while working in this shithole (check the videos page for people describing the working conditions there).
  11. Workmans comp paid me while I was off work but it was a fight for every check I received. I dint know from one week to the next if I had money coming in.
  12. When I left this place in 1999 I was on my own, I worked when I could, where I could including working for my self. I was off work several times throughout the years but when you work for yourself there is no compensation and worker comp surely wasn’t going to help, I have my med for life that’s no good but I got no other money from them.
  13. In 2013 when i finally gave up and went for permanent disability I was told since I tried to work and didn’t milk the system Id get nothing from comp or anyone for that matter. If you don’t have a claim or loss of work documented within 7 years your fucked, I did not know this. (if you find yourself in this position make sure you get lost time about every 6 years)
  14. My wife passed away in 2018, she was diagnosed with emphysema at age 35, which is way to young for that, she did however handle all my laundry for years and you can see here on the site where there have been several tests and examples of family being exposed to this dust.
  15. NCA comp did offer me a section 32 after 30 years, yes they offered me$1000.00 to go away. yes one thousand dollars for a 30 year claim that cost me everything. I have no clue why they did this…..
  16. In a nutshell I was horribly injured in 1994 and its now 2024. I’ve gotten no help from anyone except the weekly payments from workers comp for the 18 or 20 months I was off work from 1994 until around 1996. I have been made fun of, slapped in the face with insulting offers though (NCACOMP) and if this accident hadn’t happened I would have earned living and be able to retire like a normal person but hey Vanderbilt if you can live with yourself knowing that the people who actually make the money for you have had their life ruined then your nothing. You may have money but that’s all you have. My kids and grandkids love me, someday yours will read this because I’m working diligently to make sure this site finds its way everywhere and trust me I know how. I work daily with google, social media and more to get this site noticed by as many people as possible, at the moment we are reaching around 5000 unique visitors daily but I’m shooting for 50000 daily.
  17. What I find funny is the fact that I know employees there still, some are in upper management and every single one cannot believe I have been treated this way when I was at no fault, simply walking through the place doing my job.
